Aymeline suffers from severe amblyopia, diagnosed at the age of three, an inoperable disease. She was saying everything flat and could loose the use of one of her eyes. An ophthalmologist saved both of our daughter's eyes by teaching her to use them separately, but she was supposed to never see in relief. She had a wider field of vision than ours (juxtaposed rather than superimposed), she took great pleasure in teasing us, telling us that she could see her fingers at the level of her ears.
We then encountered ZV2 in February 2016 and chose to help our children grow well by using it.
After 3 months of use, Aymeline was surprised to see that her mother's eyes were "getting on one another" in her words. That was a lot for a little girl who previously only saw in one eye at a time.
It was with mixed feelings between joy and worry that we returned to see the ophthalmologist who was taking care of her. Her field of vision had narrowed, she could no longer see her fingers at ear level.
After a complete re-reading of her file and new examinations, the ophthalmologist was forced to note, without being able to explaini it, that Aymeline was developing bi-ocular vision with notions of perspective!
Since then, she has started rollerblading, she finds her way in the crowd and in vast unknown spaces (she got lost at her school in January...). And not only can she explore the world, she explored the oceans this summer by doing her first dive in the open sea.
In short, she discovers life.
Thank you ZV2 and thank you Michel.
